Although the position of Tech Director is usually held by someone who operates in the background, we want our whole community to know and appreciate David. David along with his wife, Ashley, and their two kids, Emily and Kenny, have attended Beechwood since January 2023. He saw a need and began as a faithful volunteer before taking the official position of Beechwood’s Tech Director in 2024. His attention to detail, can-do-it (or at least can-figure-it-out) attitude, and ability to communicate and teach others has been a major blessing to our team. A fun fact about David is that he has a Chemistry degree with an emphasis in Biochemistry, and worked in an organic chemistry research lab on self-disinfecting polymers (which we think means he’s smart??).
“Having a strong church community has been an integral part of our family and a way for our kids to feel like they have family and friends everywhere they go. My youngest, Kenny, was listening to “Take Me Back” and after hearing the part where it says “Take me back, to the place the feels like home, to the people I can depend on, to the faith that’s in my bones…” he said “Our church feels like home!””
